About us

Combining Traditional Room-Based 'Talking Therapies' With Equine, Canine & Nature Assisted Therapies for Positive, Long-Lasting Results.

Successful therapeutic encounters are based on a strong, therapeutic relationship. We value each person as an individual and nurture their process and ability to build on existing strengths. For a successful relationship to be built, we offer a comfortable environment that encompasses trust, empathy, a strong moral code of ethics and professionalism.

We are able to offer both short and long-term therapy for a broad range of needs and goals. We can work together once weekly or more, for an hour or more, alternative weeks/ monthly and in a range of settings: room based, in nature or with horses. We tailor the therapy to your individual needs and goals, combining a structured professional approach that will feel comfortable and safe. • Talk about what therapy is, your past (positive or negative experiences) and what will work for you
  • Answer any questions about therapy

3. Assessment Letter

You will receive an in-depth letter outlining the findings from our assessment session. This includes the following sections:

  • Psychological Presentations
  • Formulation
  • Recommendations for Therapeutic Intervention

  • Other pastoral recommendations/ requests from client

4. Book your first therapy session!

If you feel the formulation and recommendations in your assessment letter meet your requirements, we will agree a regular day and time to meet.

The Cost for the initial assessment consultation is £285. It is more than a therapy session due to the length of the session and the considerable formulation and reporting time carried out. This is a mandatory part of our service: even if you have had other assessments undertaken historically or recently; it is an ethical and legal requirement that each service carry out their own assessment to make sure we can work safely together. We are able to offer discounts based on a sliding income scale. Please email in confidence for information on this. Therapy sessions start at £90 per hour.

"The whole experience was amazing. The horses helped me look at my emotions and helped me to realise I can make mistakes (as my problem was perfection/failure) and keep moving forward – I am unable to put it all into words to what I felt, all I know is a massive shift has happened within myself. I feel free and exited about my future. Thank you."
